Yesterday the managing directors of Morgan Stanley gave a lunchtime carol service at the Landmark in Hong Kong, as part of their drive to raise charitable funds for Operation Santa Claus. The singing was led by chairman and CEO, Alasdair Morrison and investment banking supremo and president, Mike Berchtold, with HK$300,000 expected to be raised for charity. It was a musical odyssey with some tai-tais heard to comment that Berchtold's voice made giving up half an hour in Christian Dior well worthwhile.
